Rowland Gee Rowland is a manager with over 38 years of broad-based experience in the retail sector and more than half of his career has been spent running and being part of publicly listed companies. He has expertise in product sourcing, new business and strategic development, city relations, operations, design, marketing, and training as well as both verbal and written communication. Rowland has turned business plans and strategies into operational results in rapidly changing markets. Appointed Chief Executive of Moss Bros Group plc in 1989, Rowland oversaw the company’s greatest period of financial success, reaching profits of £20m, whilst it built significant market share in men’s clothing. In 1995, under Rowland’s leadership, Moss Boss entered a strategic and extremely valuable business relationship with Hugo Boss resulting in 17 high profile Hugo Boss stores being established in the UK. Hugo Boss now has a very prominent and profitable UK business. Danny Sloan During his career Danny was a key member of The British Airports Authority (BAA’s) Group Retail Board, leading the way in transforming airport retail activities across the company’s network of airports, both in the UK and Internationally. In 2005, Danny was appointed BAA Director of Planning 2012 to ensure BAA airports delivered the First and Lasting impression for UK plc across its airports. Danny then went on to form his own consultancy company providing specialist services to UK and international brand retailers and airport operators. In 2014 Danny is currently working with multiple stakeholders in the commercial redevelopment of LAX airport. Graham Symes A Financial Executive with broad experience in all aspects of accounting in the retail and wholesale fashion sectors, Graham has built companies from a start-up situation to an established market level, implementing administration, financial and point of sale systems. Graham’s specialties include writing fully integrated financial business plans, setting up retail operations, producing detailed financial information and accounts that include the production of monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flows and implementing all accounts and IT systems for overseeing and managing payroll functions. He has worked for and with many very reputable companies including Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, and Christian Lacroix in the UK reporting to the parent company (LVMH).
