In July 2021, shortly after being named League Two’s Player of the Season and Golden Boot, Paul Mullin sent shockwaves through the EFL by taking a downwards move to National League team, Wrexham AFC. Paul Mullin is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for National League side Wrexham. Born and raised in Litherland, he played for Morecambe, Swindon Town and Tranmere Rovers, before joining Cambridge United, where he was named 2020/21 Golden Boot and Player of the Season - a feat he repeated the following year at Wrexham. Off the pitch, Mullin is a patron for Wrexham-based autism charity, YourSpace, and stars in the Disney+ documentary series Welcome to Wrexham.
