Kelly Vanderlaan started writing stories in kindergarten, on the backs of her parent’s old checkbooks. Many years later she found the courage to pursue her dreams and begin writing novels. She lives in Leesburg, Virginia with three very lazy cats (but is not a cat lady). She loves to read, create art, travel, and spend time with her family.
