Roman Interlude

Ciara is about to embark on the vacation of a lifetime. After two years of leading a hectic life, it’s finally time to leave her problems behind. Her relationship with her current boyfriend is going nowhere and she is finally glad to have a break from the day-to-day routine of her life. A haphazard meeting in Rome’s daVinci Airport leads her on an adventure she would have never dreamed possible.Emotions run high as the days unfold and lead her to the inevitable day she will have to return to New York. So many questions come to her mind while she attempts to get the answers that will allow her to fit the pieces of the puzzle together. Answers which may ultimately change her life forever.

M.A. Maggiano grew up in Hoboken, NJ. He attended Hoboken High School, received his B.S in Criminology from St. Leo College in Florida, and later went on to receive his Master of Science Degree in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Intelligence Military College. A twenty-year Air Force veteran, he continued in Government Service and served for a total of forty-three years. While writing was always a large part of his professional life, the creative writing bug didn’t hit him until 2000. After retiring in the summer of 2015, he looked for ways to direct his energy. Writing came to the forefront of ideas and he resurrected all his old files and finished this book. He and his wife now reside in Port St. Lucie, Florida where he is now working on finishing his second book.
