Alicia Vale: I Salute You

Kamaya Tarpley, the author, hails originally from Brooklyn, NY. After living a portion of her childhood there, she then moved to Las Vegas, NV, where she would spend her teen and current adult years. Raised by a single mother, she was encouraged to express herself from a young age through writing. As the years went on, she wrote screenplays, poems, short stories, and even created a homemade magazine. Just as the artwork on her right arm expresses, creativity is the ultimate freedom.
