Carlos Chavez is a college teacher who enjoys sharing his passion and dedication to students and the public in general. He takes pride in making a change by giving back his knowledge and expertise to others. With a combination of more than 26 years of professional experience, he shares his knowledge in various fields and topics including Martial arts (Taekwondo), health, the dental profession, and other areas, including the business field. His main motivation is helping the community, including students practicing Taekwondo, and students in search of a better life through education, but he also enjoys helping anyone in need of support and guidance. When he is not inspiring learners by sharing his professional expertise, he is most likely spending time with his young son and his pack of playful Labrador Retriever dogs. He also holds a black belt in martial arts, specifically in Taekwondo, and this skill brings him confidence, self-control, respect to others, and skills in self-defense. Carlos is a graduate of California State University, East Bay, and enjoys teaching at community and private colleges. He is currently working on earning a Doctorate of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) in Health Sciences. As a passionate educator, he believes strongly in the importance of instilling quality education in all adults-both those with educational goals and those still unsure of what their educational goals are. The bottom line: he cares about the success of anyone in search of an education or career that will eventually lead to better living and perhaps to the fulfillment of a bigger dream.
