When Derra vanishes, her unlikely friend, Dr. Noah Giles, takes it upon himself to piece together her life in the hope of finding her. What he does find in the process immerses him into worlds that will push him to the brinkblurring the distinctions between love and obsession, sanity and insanity, and physical and spiritual reality. The trail he uncovers includes strange traditions fusing together Native American and Anglican history that reach back to the beginning of recorded history, and present day patterns of murder and cultic ritual. Barry F. Parker is a Canadian librarian in Southern California. He has a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Sheffield University in England. He has published five novels: This Heaven, The Darkened Trail, Autumn Moods, Resolutions, and Phantom Revelation. He also has articles published in the Journal of Greco-Roman Christianity and Judaism.
