Peter Foreman was born and educated in London. Trained as a state school teacher, he switched to working as a teacher of English to overseas students to satisfy his passion for travel. His work took him to Spain, Greece and mainly Italy. Later, he began to write material for students of English, which was published by CIDEB, a scholastic publisher now taken over by De Agostini. He has written adaptations of classics as well as his own original fiction. Oxford University press published ’The Mystery of Allegra’, a supernatural story with activities. Many of his books have sold well. Besides ’The Bronzes from the Sea’ Peter has published two other novels - ’Pisuktuk of the Arctic’ and ’Aurelie’ - and ’Tarantella’, a collection of short stories, all as both paperback and E-book editions on Amazon Kindle. Peter lives in Bradford-on-Avon in the west of England, and enjoys reading, films, walking, and wining and dining in good company.
