Kyle Higgins is a #1 New York Times bestselling author best known for his work on DC Comics’ Batman titles as well as his critically-acclaimed reinventions of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for Boom! Studios and Ultraman for Marvel Comics. RADIANT BLACK is Kyle’s fourth series for Image Comics.

Ryan Parrott was born in Bakersfield, California but spent the majority of his life growing up in Las Vegas. A graduate of Chapman University, Ryan had short films screen at both the Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals--eventually leading to a career in film and television. He has written for the NBC television series Revolution, IDW’s Star Trek and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as well as co-writing the series’ finale Revolution: Endgame and the New York Time’s best-seller Batman: Gates of Gotham.

A writer, producer, consultant and creative executive with over a decade of experience, Melissa helped revitalize the Power Rangers brand when it was bought by Saban Brands from Disney in 2010, until it’s sale to Hasbro in 2018. She specializes in developing and producing diverse and inclusive entertainment content that synergizes across multiple media platforms, including television (Power Rangers, Glitter Force, Julius Junior), feature films (Saban’s Power Rangers), digital films (including Power Rangers Legacy Wars: Streetfighter Showdown, Shattered Grid), publishing (including the award-winning Boom! Studios Power Rangers comic books), live events and gaming (including the hit console game Power Rangers: Battle For the Grid and the mobile game Power Rangers Legacy Wars). In 2020, she wrote and co created the popular Twitch digital hybrid series The Unleashed, which was also featured as a backup series in the superhero Image series Radiant Black. Her new Image comic book series The Dead Lucky will release later this year.She also voices the characters Kat Ranger and Gia Moran in Power Rangers: Battle For the Grid.

Mat Groom is a writer from Sydney, Australia, where he works on branding and narrative development at the creative agency For The People and teaches open-to-the-public storytelling classes. Self/Made is Mat’s solo comics writing debut.

Marcelo Costa is a comic artist and colorist from Brazil who has coloured books such as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Firefly for Boom! Studios, Hidden Society for Dark Horse, and SELF/MADE for Image Comics. RADIANT BLACK is Marcelo’s first work for Image Comics as an artist.

Abel is a Brazilian comic book artist with work published in Heavy Metal Magazine and books from DC Comics.

Previously storyboard artist for the Italian ADV agency Armando Testa, in 2015 French co-created together with Jacopo Paliaga the webcomic Aqualung, which later became an original series for Bao Publishing winning several awards as best series in Italy. Since 2018 he has been collaborating with BOOM! Studios on comic series such as Power Rangers, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and Magic the Gathering. He worked also as illustrator with brands like Disney, Lucas Arts, Marvel and much more. He is currently working on his new Image series THE DEAD LUCKY.

Erica D’Urso is a native Italian illustrator and comics creator, who has worked with some of
the biggest characters and brands in all of fiction-- including IAN FLEMING’S JAMES BOND
and XENA: WARRIOR PRINCES for Dynamite Entertainment, as well as THE LIFE OF
CAPTAIN MARVEL for Marvel Comics.
