Some writers write to gain popularity which translates into the sale of books. Others write to further the intellectual value and art form inherent in the written word. I choose to write because through experience and observation I have been given the gift of story. My passion is in the story; in presenting content that has the reader wondering, asking, seeking after what is right. How did I come about this passion? Truth be told, it is the accumulation of my life experiences. While most view the world in rather ordinary ways; as they should. In the midst of what seems to be the norm from time to time along comes a story teller with an uncanny way of seeing things just a bit off-center from the reality of most. Sometimes, I wonder just where that key used for unlocking the door that offers me a world view that is often 20 degrees off center came from. The before mentioned life experiences? An overly inquisitive mind? The realization that an answer to a question is nothing more than another question waiting to be asked? Whatever the reasons, I feel blessed. Words flow, becoming stories. Stories that surprise, some that bring a smile to the face of the reader, others that leave the reader feeling uncomfortable. For example, drawing upon the titles of some of my works tells the tale: "An Interview with Adam & Eve" "Is Jesus a Buddhist?" and, of course, "Mind Travel" May I extend to you my personal invitation to join with me as we explore my world.
