David Murrow wrote his first short story, The Beautiful Star, at the age of seven. No trace of this lost masterpiece of shit remains, pulped and recycled, he hopes, into copies of his favourite novels, The Catcher in the Rye, maybe, or Tropic of Cancer, or The Bell Jar or American Psycho or Invisible Monsters. He writes and performs poetry and is busy working on his second novel. He graduated from the University of East London in 2009 with first class honours in creative writing. He lives in London.
