Born in Christian County, Kentucky, Carolyn Radford Echols has spent most of her life working behind the scenes in radio and television, but has always been fascinated by the paranormal. She loves animals, is a hands-on volunteer for the Humane Society and an outspoken advocate for animal welfare. She has been married for 39 years to her husband, Fred who has also enjoyed many years in the broadcasting field. When not writing about or investigating the paranormal, she enjoys music, gardening and jewelry making.
