Mary Kay Glunt was born and raised on the South Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she attended St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church and performed in St. Michael’s Veronica’s Veil. At the age of 22 she began attending New Life Assembly God in Oakland, where she not only answered the call to ministry, but also met and married her husband, Donald T. Glunt. One year later they moved to Springfield, Missouri, where they attended college and seminary. Eventually, the Glunts moved into ordained ministry in the Presbyterian Church (USA), where she has most recently served as an interim pastor. She currently serves as a teaching elder/minister of Word and Sacrament. While serving a church in Greenfield, Missouri, she was a regular contributor to the Dade County Vedette, and several of her poems and articles have been published in magazines. She also owns MK Creations and Gifts, producing Heart Into Words poetry keepsakes and Scripture-full names keepsakes, which incorporate a person’s name with Scripture. Rev. Glunt is a moving public speaker and is available for special events, women’s conferences, and other gatherings. Find Mary Kay at revmkg.wordpress.com, and on Facebook/ Heart Into Words.
