Eve Dumovich is a volunteer for the National Park Service and enjoys hiking the sub-alpine meadows of Mount Rainier. Professionally, she wrote for weekly and daily newspapers, taught journalism and writing at area community colleges and wrote several books about aviation history published by The Boeing Company. Her other published works include the novel, "Barefoot John and The Blues", a book of poetry called "Tidelines" and "Doorway Through the Totem", a compilation of stories based on archetypal Haida myths. The Haida are Northwest Native Americans who settled along the Pacific Coast more than 10,000 years ago.
