L.M. Wasylciw grew up in a remote farming community, far from the industrialization of the modern world. She was raised on eggs collected from the hen house, home grown vegetables from the garden and dairy from, milk cow, Molly. At age eleven she knew that she wanted to be a writer but, as it was with many things in life, her ambitions were delayed. She worked a full career in banking, as a Financial Advisor, and at retirement moved to live aboard a sailboat - thinking that the time had come and she could write. But it wasn’t to be. A sailing voyage was in the plans, taking her around Vancouver Island, to Alaska and Mexico then across the South Pacific to dozens of tropical islands, French Polynesia, Cook Islands, Niue, Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, New Zealand and Australia. Then finally it happened - she began writing and once started there was no stopping her. She is finally living her life-long dream and is now an author, writing every day, primarily about subject matters that touch closely to her heart. She is happiest when writing and often has three or four stories on the go - all at the same time.
