Written between 1967 and 1993, North Wind is a collection of poetry that tells tales of love lost, and love found, of happy times, and sad times of a man making his way through the highways and backroads of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and other far-flung locations in America. Many of the poems in this collection became lyrics on Jeff Cowell’s three albums. Plaint, Lucky Strikes and Liquid Gold, and Iron and Ice.
