Carolyn Peterkin first became interested in writing when a coworker suggested she create some poetry. The resulting deeply reflective works dealing with life’s challenges spurred her forward, and now, in addition to poems, she writes insightful novels with diverse characters and themes.

Peterkin works in local government and enjoys yoga and reading in her spare time. She lives in Maryland with her family.
