Echoes en el Valle: Quinceañera anthology

The Narciso Martínez Writers’ Forum opened to the public in May, 2001, for reading original pieces written in English, Spanish, or both. It was not a workshop or a critic’s circle, merely a forum to practice reading original material before an audience. One of the 1st projects of the Forum was to produce a spoken word CD to celebrate National Poetry Month. It was called ＂Voices from the Chicho＂. Writers, readers, and all lovers of words are welcome to attend our monthly meetings. As well as regular forum meetings, the Narciso Martinez Writers’ Forum hosts, in conjunction with the Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts center, special events for Women’s Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and El Día de los Muertos. The public is encouraged to attend these events and enjoy visual art and readings appropriate to the occasion.
