Dora Ilieva is a Bulgarian-Canadian author who made her debut with the novel "The Devil’s Gorge". She grew up in Sofia, Bulgaria and moved to Canada when she was twenty-eight. She is married and has three children. She works as a teacher and writes in her spare time. Her second book, the short story collection "Faces", deals with the all too human problems city dwellers encounter on a daily basis. Her third book, the novel "The Master" brings back Kossara, Sam and Ben, as they try to find a valuable medieval document.
