Wilma was born in Newport, Arkansas. She attended Branch High, a segregated school, and completed her degree at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, Arkansas. She married Raymond J. Miller soon after graduation. While working at Timex and Silverwood Industries, she raised three children while perfecting her recipes at home, family reunions, and church events. Even after the death of her husband to heart disease and daughter to cancer, retirement has not slowed Wilma at all. Late in life; she started a new career as a caregiver and author. Wilma is also a performance artist specializing in religious comedy. Momma’s Home Cooking is her first book.
