Helen is a native of Toronto, Canada. she worked for many years in the Information Technology field as a programmer, manager and consultant. Her software - The Garden Management System - is sold via her website at http: //www.hmk.on.ca. Helen became interested in genealogy in the 1970s, after visiting with her family in England. Records at that time were not digitized, however, and the hunt for ancestors was much more difficult from abroad. In recent years, Helen’s interest was rekindled by family stories, and has resulted in this book. Helen lives with her husband, in a small town west of Toronto.
