Sherene Holly Cain was born prematurely three months early in a car to Gwendolyn Baker and Sammie Holly. She was raised in Compton, California, is 40+ and in addition to writing, entertaining and uplifting her readers, she is also an avid reader, singer, and cook. She hopes to one day pursue her writing on a full time basis since it has been her passion for as long as she can remember. At the age of nine, she wrote a stage play and several poems, songs and short stories thereafter. She is currently a writer of African American Urban fiction romance and plans to write in other genres as well. Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart 2 is her second novel.
