Loving Johnny

Erik Walter grew up on a farm in Illinois. He graduated with a nursing degree in 1980 and a Bachelor of Music Education Degree in 1984. He met his partner of 25 years in Oklahoma. They currently reside in the old farmhouse that he grew up in. When same sex marriage became legal across the United States in 2014, they married in a ceremony at their home surrounded by family and friends.
