Christmas Soup for the Soul: 10 Hearty Helpings from New England’’s Christmas Story Pastor

New Englanders fondly call Dr. Steve Burt ＂the Christmas Story Pastor.＂ Since the 1990s, he has presented his heart-touching holiday stories aloud in nursing homes, senior centers, churches, and on radio and TV. Several of the stories have been excerpted for Chicken Soup for the Soul and Family Circle magazine. His 30 books have spanned several genres, including small church leadership, inspirational story collections, teen ghost stories, textbooks, young adult mysteries (FreeKs), and the Dumb Jokes for Kids series. Steve Burt’s writings have won the Moonbeam Children’s Book Award, the Mom’s Choice Award, 3 Ray Bradbury writing prizes, a Bram Stoker Award for young readers, the Florida Book Festival grand prize, and 10 New England Book Festival Awards. He and his wife Jolyn live in Wells, Maine and The Villages, Florida.
