Lee and Sheila Berkes are Wisconsin authors of books and plays. Lee retired from teaching physics and lecturing on lasers to begin his writing career. He’s walked the length of Africa, the breadth of India, and the width of Australia. His work has appeared in literary magazine Alligator Juniper’s edition of prize-winning fiction. Sheila began her writing after retiring from teaching English literature. She’s a world traveler and a performance wizard having appeared in Chautauqua tours and on the professional stage. Her advanced degree in American Studies gives confirmation to the details of their books’ characters. Together they wrote, designed, and regionally toured With Love, Georgia, a play based on the life of artist Georgia O’Keeffe, which Pulitzer Prize winner William Luce called "exciting writing." They’re a working team who now share their many miles and experiences by co-authoring mystery and adventure novels.
