Dead or Alive

When Violet Chambers lands the coveted spot of lead newscaster during the Remington Archibald murder trial, she feels like her superiors at the news station are finally giving her the respect she deserves—and she’s determined to prove them right.  During a foolish attempt to infiltrate the closed courtroom, she finds herself face-to-face with the gun wielding, convicted murderer himself as he attempts to make an escape—and with her in his arms!
