Working successfully as a professional musician in a number of countries in Europe and South America, I found an interest in languages and made a major career change in my thirties. Qualifying as a teacher of English as a second language, I opened a company to do precisely that, specialising in working with adult students, mainly employed by engineering companies. This led to my interest in technology and engineering projects related to the environment.
