911 Spirits and The Towers of Death

This mass casualty event and how it affects the nation as the response assets-police, firemen, paramedics, nurses, and other caregivers-are brought into service, features many selfless acts by individuals that few know about. The tale explores several issues we face as a people and demonstrates how we might look at each other as humans instead of noticing race, color, or belief. Ken Barnett is a flight paramedic with twenty two years of experience and has treated thousands of patients. His philosophy is that being close to death brings you that much closer to life; every day you spend loving instead of hating makes you a better soul. Ken lives in a small town with his wife and family, and his job is still about saving lives.
