Lisa Howell was born in Nelson, NZ and completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The University of Otago. She started her own clinic, Perfect Form Physiotherapy, in Sydney, Australia in 2005, specializing in the education and rehabilitation of dancers, and started www.theballetblog.com in 2007 to help spread the knowledge more globally. She works closely with many dance schools and lectures all over the world on the prevention and rehabilitation of dance injuries. Lisa has published many books, eBooks and DVD’s to help share her knowledge with the dance world and has a strong focus on educating Dance Teachers and other Health Professionals on working more effectively with their clients.
