Teele and Guba’s Exciting Escapades Through STEM

Author Dimitra J. Smith, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Higher Education. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Dr. Smith continued her education at Iowa State University for her M.Ed in Student Affairs and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy. Her research and professional experience focuses primarily on STEM education, preparation and career exploration. Therefore, she has authored many publications that focus on STEM education among students of color, women in STEM and transfer students. In addition, Dr. Smith also has several edited books that focus on Career and Technical Education.
