Two Islands, One Love

Angeliki was born and raised in a small village on the island of Corfu by "parents limited by their own personal problems", verifying that a happy childhood is more of a myth than a reality. The girl grows into a sensitive but strong woman who faces with grim determination life's challenges. The search for love guides her on a path to the island of Kos where she meets Oresti. Together they form a relationship which fulfills their karmic destiny. I was born and raised in the island of Corfu where I studied and received a degree in nursing. I went on to study psychology and hypnotherapy. I presently live in the island of Kos with my husband and our two children. In my free time I enjoy taking walks in nature and absorbing the beauty of the island. ’Two Islands, One Love’, although it contains some autobiographical material, is a novel. The characters and the events are mostly fictional. Its basic theme is what most people are searching for, genuine love. I began writing the story during my pregnancy and I finished it when our children reached their first birthday. I had the loving and invaluable support of my husband who is for me what Orestis was for Angeliki.
