Real Research: Research Methods Sociology Students Can Use is an undergraduate research methods text with two distinct features. First, the book is set up to allow allows students to begin exploring methods within the first few class meetings. Steps in the research process are covered in each chapter, in the context of the seven methods covered. Secondly, it focuses on the methods most frequently used in sociology, and most valuable to sociology majors: ethnography, interviews, content analysis, secondary data analysis, surveys, and evaluation research.
