Tim Hayes is a retired aquarist and marine aquarium writer. He is the author of more than 200 magazine articles on the various aspects of reef aquariums and has at one time or another written for virtually every major English speaking aquarium magazine in the UK and the US and also had articles published in France, Italy, and Germany. He was a major contributor and editorial consultant on the book 500 Ways To Be A Better Marine Fishkeeper (2005) and has written and developed a training course for marine aquarists aimed at both professionals and hobbyists.
