Teresa Reese is the author of the poetry book, "A Strong-willed Mind, healing scars over time through my poetry". Her poetry book was written as a tribute to her six children after she survived brain surgery twice. As an author, daughter, grand-daughter, mother, niece and sibling, Teresa understands the challenges of facing and overcoming adversity. Along with her passion for writing, Teresa genuinely loves people and she spends a lot of her spare time encouraging, inspiring, motivating and uplifting others. Author Teresa Reese was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Raised by Robert and Betty Davis, Teresa is the oldest of four siblings. She currently resides in Austin, Texas. Recently diagnosed with a recurring mass in her brain, as well as, a chronic illness, author Teresa Reese is determined not to let minor set backs stop her from achieving her lifetime goals. Her resilience continues to be her fuel and she uses the challenges she faces in life as her motivation to continue to do what she loves to do, which is write. Writing gives Teresa the opportunity to escape, even if for a brief moment and tap into her creative side where her peace and serenity abide.
