Every day after school, cousins and fellow mecha-maniacs, Naomi and Everett work on machines in their hideout-treehouse. Coded elevators, ships, and more! In the backdrop, the world is at war and mysterious giant robots are attacking both sides... Everything changes for our heroes when Naomi’s parents pull them from school--Everett’s father is missing and their new nanny, Amelia, is not quite who she appears to be. Denis-Pierre Filippi has been passionate about comics since he was eight years old, when his father made him read Spirou. Filippi is the writer of Orull the Cloud Maker, Songes, Gargouilles, John Lord, Marshall. More recently, he’s published Ethan Ringler, Federal Agent; The Corsairs of Alcibiades; New World; The Extraordinary Voyages; and Terra Prohibita. When he is not writing, he sometimes leads writing workshops in libraries and schools--including the IUFM (University of Music and Music). Filippi’s dream is to merge writing and teaching through his work with children, both young and old.
