Inspiration for the book Couple Minutes of Your Time The development of the book was from our inspiration posts but is mainly from our personal testimonies of overcoming this thing called life. Based on God's biblical Word, trials will rise, but through the words of encouragement and inspiration, people will be reminded that they will overcome them and this, too, shall pass . . . In our experiences and faith, these words of encouragement have carried us through difficult times.

Marlon Marshall is the co-founder of BRAVE 458, a community based initiative whose focus is providing outreach services to people in need. Though a native of Washington, DC, his family relocated to the Alexandria, VA area; later graduating from the Fairfax County Public School system. With a passion for film, in September 2011, Marlon enrolled in the University of Boston majoring in Film/Digital Programming, and graduated June 2013 with a degree in his major. In his spare time, he enjoys mentoring the youth by giving back in volunteering/coaching for Fairfax County Basketball Youth Leagues, as well as, High School Basketball for both Varsity and Junior Varsity Boys Teams, in both Fairfax and Prince William Counties. Marlon has over 16 years in Telecommunications and outreach through Brave458 in the past years. Marlon is currently employed at a Prince William High School where he is fortune to pour into the children with differening abilities. He currently resides in Woodbridge, VA with his wife Lisa, and their children Marlon, Jr, McKenzye. His oldest daughter and son-in-law along with their children reside in the local DMV area. Lisa Marshall is the co-founder of BRAVE458, a community based initiative whose focus is providing outreach services to people in need. She was born and raised in Washington, DC, attending DC Public Schools. Upon graduation from high school, Lisa attended and graduated from the University of the District of Columbia where she obtained a Bachelors of Liberal Arts Degree in Journalism (Print Media) in May 1992. In addition to BRAVE458, Lisa has been employed for over 29 years in the Federal Government. Lisa is especially passionate about ＂women＂ issues; and the importance of their whole wellness. She currently resides in Woodbridge, VA with her husband Marlon and their children Marlon, Jr and McKenzye. Her oldest daughter and son-in- law along with their children reside in the local DMV area.
