K. L. (Karen Lea) McKee has had a passion for writing since she was a young girl. After raising two rambunctious boys and earning her B.A. in English from Regis University, she renewed her desire to write faith-based stories. Karen worked in the Reference Center of her local library for twenty-nine years, recently retiring to pursue writing full time. She is a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. She and her husband reside in Western Colorado, known for its fruit orchards, wineries, majestic mountains, spectacular canyons, and strikingly beautiful desert terrain. She enjoys knitting, music-playing and singing-tennis, pickle ball, the beautiful Western Colorado outdoors, and spending time with her family. Because she lived during the Vietnam War era, Karen is particularly passionate about how the Vietnam soldiers were treated during the war and after they returned home. It is her hope that, as a nation, we thank these soldiers who were asked to do the impossible and received little thanks from the citizens if this great country. Karen is also the author of two other books: Miracle, a novella In Name Only
