J. Bryan Bennett is the Executive Director of the Healthcare Center of Excellence (healthcarecoe.org) where he researches and advises on transformation issues for healthcare provider organizations. He is the author of the Competing on Healthcare Analytics: The Foundational Approach to Population Health Analytics and the "Data Stewardship" chapter for the book ADAPTIVE Health Management Information Management and has been published in many other journals and blogs.
Mr. Bennett is also a predictive analytics subject matter expert, predictive analytics course writer and an adjunct faculty member for Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies. He is responsible for the development and teaching of online and classroom predictive analytics courses for the international and domestic markets as well as undergraduate business courses. As an Adjunct Professor at Judson University he has taught and mentored organizational leadership graduate students and teaches marketing, healthcare marketing and consumer behavior courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels as an Adjunct Professor for other universities.
As a data analytics consultant, Mr. Bennett performed the analysis that led to the introduction of Rogaine for Women and created the organization design for Microsoft’s first internal global analytics group. He has over 30 years of experience helping companies such as Chase, BellSouth, Conseco Insurance and State Farm Insurance implement analytics-based customer relationship marketing solutions. His work has been recognized by Gartner and he authored the whitepaper "A Customer-Centric Approach to Community Bank Growth" published in Capco’s Journal of Financial Transformation. This whitepaper was one of 18 papers selected from the almost 200 submissions from scholarly and business leaders from around the world.
Mr. Bennett resides in the Chicago area and is the proud father of 2 teenagers. In addition to teaching, and consulting, he loves writing science fiction, golfing and college basketball.
