The Wonder of Things

Michael Thornton lived in Kyoto, Japan from 1964 through 1986. He is the author of a film script, ＂The Fable of the Wen: A Japanese Folktale.＂ Three of his novellas have been collected in the volume, ＂Camellias, Skull, & Sword: Grotesque and Curious Tales of Japan.＂ The first in his planned series of books for children is titled ＂The Animal Garden.＂
