Chuck Dean is the author of numerous books, including Nam Vet: Making Peace with Your Past, Inside Shadows, Down Range, and Some Came Home. In 2008 he was awarded the Hirsch Foundation Leadership Award in Los Angeles for his writing and work with veterans and their families over the years. He lives in Las Vegas and is currently a columnist for The Vegas Voice newspaper.
