She was a resident of Gilmanton, New Hampshire.ARDIS CAMERON is Professor of American and New England Studies at the University of Southern Maine. She received a Guggenheim Fellowship and a National Endowment for the Humanities Senior Research Fellowship for her work-in-progress, Tales of Peyton Place: The Biography of a Big Book.
