15 Days of Prayer with Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton

The purpose of the volume that you hold in your hand is to lead you over a period of 15 days (about 2 weeks) or, maybe more realistically, 15 prayer periods to a place where prayer is possible if you already have a regular experience and practice of prayer perhaps this volume could lead you to a deeper place a more intimate relationship with the Lord. Note that this book’s purpose is not to lead you to a better relationship with Elizabeth Ann Seton, your spiritual companion. Although your companion will invite you to share some of their deepest and most intimate thoughts, your companion is doing so only to bring you into that place where God dwells. After all, the true measurement of a companion for the journey is that they bring you to the place where you need to be, and then step back, out of the picture a guide who brings you to the desired destination and then sticks around is a very unwelcome test!
