Ornamental Origami

Indian-born Mukerji, formerly a computer scientist and now a mother, origamist, and author in California, introduces modular origami, in which separate elements of folded paper are fit together to create three-dimensional figures. Using color extensively in both diagrams and photographs, she walks readers through the elaborate constructions and illustrates the final pieces, many of which represent various types of flowers.
