Ray Frazier was the last of eight children born to a tobacco farmer near Rolesville, North Carolina, just north of Raleigh. He received his master’s and doctorate degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has served five congregations as pastor and seven as intentional interim pastor, in Virginia, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Ray is the author of The First Hundred Days: One Hundred Devotions for New Christians and has written Bible study materials for Smyth & Helwys and the Baptist Sunday School Board. He and his wife Sandy married in 1967 and have two grown children, Blake and Amanda, and two grandchildren, Alexandra and Garrison.
