The Tao Te Ching is the principal text of the ancient Chinese philosophical/spiritual tradition of Taoism, says Vespe, attributed to the legendary figure of Lao Tzu in the sixth century BCE. He presents a new translation under the title Spirit Soul Passages with commentary on the spiritual meaning he finds in each passage.
