JOHN K. BOLLARD is the author of eleven books, and he served as the Managing Executive Editor for the Harvard University W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African American Research in the African American National Biography. Additionally, he also served as the editor for African American Lives. Bollard also took his PhD from the University of Leeds in Medieval English Language and Literature and has published several books, lectures, and articles on Welsh language, history, and culture.
