Heck (theology, Georgetown U.) has revised for publication a lecture series in inter-religious studies that he delivered during spring 2007 at John Carroll University. He explores possibilities and constraints, benefits and drawbacks to members of the sibling faiths recognizing truth in the other. His perspectives include whether the Qur'an belongs in the Bible, how much good news people can take, whether the face of God is a social good, whether Jihad is Christian too, whether Islam is more or less democratic than Christianity, and whether God's rights are a threat to human rights.
