Wanko, who teaches pre-service and in-service math teachers at Miami U. of Ohio, helps teachers develop students' spatial reasoning through the use of logic path puzzles in which solvers use deductive reasoning to place the path that follows specific rules while also using spatial reasoning to get an overall view of what the path would look like. He presents four different types of logic path puzzles--Slitherlink, Hashiwokakero, Masyu, and Yajilin--and each chapter contains information on solving and creating puzzles, along with examples, worksheets, solutions, and blank grids.
