Growing Up Brown

Growing up in a Christian home during the1970s and 1980s was not always easy. But the Brown family depended on God’s grace to overcome racism, low self-esteem, bullies, and an out of wedlock pregnancy. Dr. and Mrs. Brown, Jr. demonstrated how to be ＂salt and light,＂ and shared the value of keeping church and family traditions with their children.
