Tochluk (education, Mount St. Mary's College and educator diversity training) wrote this book with the intent that it begin a dialogue on issues of racism and white privilege and contribute to a more equitable and just society. The author notes that while the book's issues are addressed to white people, people of color also may benefit from reading it to help resolve those issues from both perspectives.
